After testing with out of the box default settings, I have confirmed a bug (or inconvenience depending on how you look at it)...
It would be nice if the angled instrument classes that are created outside of the "Relief Valves" would work as robustly as they do under the "Inline Assests -> Hand Valves" class. If I create any angled device outside of the relief valves class, it does not place correctly. Angled entities placed on corners of lines come in sideways or backwards.
Autodesk, please test this and confirm this.
Have you tried modifying the 'Angle Valve' in the hand valves class (to make it look like a PSV/PRV?) It will place on the corner of a line properly.
I suppose I could have gone that route, looking back now. At first I didn't quite understad how valves vs. control valves were set up, but now do. I ended up just placing them under the "Reflief Valves" class in Instrumentation. Putting them there seemed to do the trick for now.
Thanks for looking into this for me.
