Object Interference Setting

ADT walls, windows, etc do not trigger the ABS object interference, but ADT Structural objects and ABS objects will show interferences. Why not make another setting/property for MvParts (Parametric and Block based) where one can check off what a part can or cannot show interferences with; Walls, Duct/Pipe/Wires, Structural Objects, Other MvParts, Ceiling Grids. Here's where it would be useful. We don't want to see interferences between a Duct/Pipe/Wire and a Wall, but we don't want VAV boxes, balancing dampers, and most equipment to be interfering with a Wall. Someone may want Ducts/Pipes/Wires to always be above the ceiling and wants to see interferences if the duct conflicts with the ceiling grid or any MvPart for that matter. We want fire dampers that only fit within the wall and duct (Maybe a non-intersection filter). Sooner or later, MvParts will be allowed to be nested or tied to multiple Keys. Here's one example of many where we need this. Rooftop Unit type equipment has minimum service Clearance geometry and other protrusions that we may want to turn the layer on/off or color differently. Well, it would be great if we could designate that MvPart to detect interferences that pass thru the minimum service clearance geometry such as walls, structural members, but not pipes, ducts, wires that lead up to the unit. We could do this with a MvPart Filter Setting. Thanks. JPB
