Duct by Size

Pipe by size is a great feature, with piping below a specified size being displayed in single line mode. A similar feature for ductwork would be greatly appreciated.

i oppose this!!!!!! I think you should take single line completely out of the program...... This will keep engineering firms from drawing duct that does not fit.....

I agree!! No single line duct at all! If you want single line duct just draw a line. Edited by: Carriehall42 on Feb 3, 2009 3:20 PM

Why so much animosity? Duct work can be shown single line anyway.

Our office standard is to show all ductwork less than 20" wide as single line. Otherwise the drawing gets to busy. This is not an uncommon practice in my region. (NYC)

Working with AutoCAD MEP I cannot make my drawings conform with the office standard without going out of my way. The addition of a "duct by size" representation would address this.

For those of you who don't like it, don't use it.
