viewport caching

I have a project that I worked in BS3 and now am going to be working on in
BS4. My file got very large, I had 3 xrefs plus work on top of that. When
switching between the different sheets in the one file and keep getting this
"viewport caching" and it works very slow and since using it in BS4 the
program keeps crashing. I have since detached 2 xref's from the file to down
size it but I am unable to switch between the sheets. I wanted to take those
tabs and put them in other cad files, to break up the size. Your help is
greatly appreciated.

Hi Scott -

You can "probably" use design center to pull the layout tabs (copy them) out of the existing drawing and put them in a new drawing. By using design center to access the layout tabs, you may be able to get to more of the data than you would be able to access by opening the drawing and trying to switch tabs. - jason
