Viewing Problems 3d back to 2d??

I tried viewing my dwg with the 3d orbit command, now I can't get back to my regular plan view. Per the Help files I select VIEW/3d VIEWS/PLAN VIEWS/World UCS. The top view comes up by my duplex/Quad outlets only show the lines and not the circles with them. When I zoom out my home runs dissapear. Also the UCS axis has a 3d color look vs the normal flat white 2d plan look. How can I get back to the normal 2d plan view??
