How were the sizes for transformers
determined??
Were they built off of a particular
manufacturer's specs??

Hi Matt -
Most of the transformers are based on
catalog cuts from a year-2000 major electrical equipment manufacturer.
We try to select a good representative sample. I created any
others back in the early days (R1) by modeling every
transformer that was for sale on a used commercial electrical equipment
dealer web site that just happened to publish overall dimensions so the
manufacturers vary on those.
We are always adding new content - What
kind/sizes of transformers would you like to see?

It's not that I want to see more sizes, it's just
that I got a request to change the plan view block to match our previous
pre-AutoCAD software symbols. It's not a big deal. It's more of a
pain in the @$$ than anything else and I was just curious as to how you came
to use the sizes that you did.
Thanks!
