Tick marks on plumbing fittings

Is there a way to get rid of the tick marks on plumbing fittings?

Andrew,
I believe you can turn off the ticks on plumbing fittings if you go to your plumbing system definitions, then modify the system that this if affected by, then modify the display properties so that the connector is turned off,
