SP1 for ADT2004 modules of ABS

I have tried the SP1 update for the ADT components of ABS2004, refuses to
install. Is there a separate one for ABS ?

Hi Raj -

We have not yet released an SP1 for Autodesk Building Systems. The ADT
service pack is for ADT only.

I hope this helps!

Peter, Are there any ill effects if I have both ADT2004 & ABS2004 on the
same machine, and I install SP1 on my ADT2004?
Thanks,

I've been wondering the same - I presume the service pack updates files in
the shared directory that is used by both ADT 2004 & ABS 2004, but won't be
updating the files in the application's directories - thereby semi-patching
ABS 2004 as well?

Hi Jim -

No ill effects. We will roll-up both ADT and ACAD service packs when we
issue our own.

Everyone - keep those error reports coming in!

Uh Oh!

Turns out there is a minor problem. Apparently, there is a bug that
requires that the install order of side-by-side ADT/ABS be ADT first, then
ABS. Well, installing the service pack changes the install order to ABS
first.

To fix this - go into the control panel ->Add/Remove Programs -> Autodesk
Building Systems -> Change -> Reinstall or Repair Autodesk Building Systems
2004 and continue the wizard. There is no need to reinstall any of the
applications.

My apologies...
