shading not showing up

I have been having problems with shading not showing up when I plot. Like if I us an arrow leader it will show shaded on the drawing but when I plot it it show open. This does not do this in all of my drawings just a few but it is happening more. Any ideas what going on there please let me know.

That will sometimes happen if you have the hide
plot setting turned on.  If you use the haloed lines this will not
happen.
