Shade Plot Setting Issues??? Hidden setting leaves leader arrows open, why?

When plotting MEP objects, with shade plot seeting set to Hidden, Leader arrows plot open. How can I change this???
When plotting with the Shade Plot setting set to 3D-Hidden, all MEP objects plot shaded or darker than what the layer and ctb files are set for. Is there anyway to change this or know what i need to look into? The 3D-Hidden plots are not even legible.

I have attacehd a PDF of example plots. The first with the Shade Plot set to Hidden, and the second has the Shade Plot set to 3D-hidden.

Any ideas or common problems.

Thanks,
Mike

your leaders arrows are "hollow" because they are solid "polylines". u can create your own leader arrow that is composed of lines or hatch. your 3d hidden is plotting in the colors that are set in your visual styles settings
