I have a problem with applying a service pack to my system.
I have ABS 2004 but due to certain limitations within the package, I have chosen to install only ADT until such time as ABS fully meets my needs. I have created a network image and this installs fine. My problem is that I cannot successfully apply a service pack to this image. If I use the ABS service pack, I am told the file is not valid. If I use the ADT service pack, I get 43 error messages about files having been previously updated and the service pack will not apply.
Surely if the ABS discs include and ADT installer, then surely this should be a bona fide installation and not a reworked version of ABS. As it is, even though the package was installed as ADT, the title bar shows the package name as ABS and in the 'About' details, everything is referenced as ABS.
How do I update my network image?
