plumbing mv-par

corner service sink
scrub sink
utility sink

are lacking any cw and hw f.u. values (neither they have water connectors).
On the other hand there is no such thing as faucet or shower head having
apropriate f.u. assigned.
How I can assign cw and hv values to corner sink (or any other fixture
having no such feature)?
Thanks.

Hi Slawomir!

If you want to add additional connectors to a MvPart you have to modify them
in ContentBuilder.
Start Content Builder and navigate to the desired part.
Edit the Part and go to connectors tab.
Right-click on the top level icon/text and Select Add Pipe Connector
Choosse Flow direction, System Type and F.U.

Go down to the Connector on the desired Part Size and Right-Click - Edit
Now Place your connector where you want it on the Part Position - Normal etc
(look at the red arrow which will tell you how the connector will be placed)

Hope this Helps!

/Hakan

Hi Hakan
Adding connectors is ok with me and I know how to do it. I would love to
learn how to add fixture units to the fixture. Some plumbing fixtures have
only drainage fixture units assigned, no water units. I would like to add
these values and then I would like to know how to construct a fixture AND
assign fixture units. So far it looks that the fixture units are not block
attributes.
Thanks,
sp

Hi,

If you right click on the connector for the part (not the part size) and
choose 'Edit', you will have the ability to edit/add the fixture units for
the connector.

(There is a small bug here, so when you add a connector you might have to
press ok after choosing the system type and then choose 'edit' again to be
able to edit the FU's)

Hi Slawomir

Fixture Units are picked up from a Fixture Unit Table.
Style Manager > Fixture Unit Table Definitions.
Each "row" in the Fixture Unit Table control FU for Waste, Cold Water and
Hot Water.
There is also a setting whether the fixture is Public or Private.

E.g. If I add a "Utility Sink" then Fixture Units will be picked up from
"Sink - Service".
FU for Waste will be 3.00.
If I add CW/HW connectors the way Hakan and Lars-Ake wrote, then FU for CW
and HW will be picked up as well.

There is no need to add FU to each connector, please use the Fixture Unit
Table instead.
