Pipe Drop Display 3D

We are having an issue with the pipe drop display when using the Piping (3D) program. the display is fine if the piping terminates with just the elbow/fitting or another piece of pipe. See attached jpg. But if another fitting (in this case an elbow) is added to the run below, the dashed lines are displayed solid. If you zoom in it appears that the problem is several hidden lines beening displayed, hence causing the solid appearance.

I remember the ductwork ahving the same problem several versions ago as well.

thanks for any suggestions.

Congratulations, you find a defect.

To fix the defect, you have to do as following step.

~~~Modify all drop blocks in your template, for example: Aecb_Duct_Oval_2Line_Exh_Drop, edit in block-editor, then set its property of color, linetype and lineweight from byblock to bylayer.
The the new drawing will be correct when using rise-drop.
For existing drawing, you have to do as above again and again.
