Panel to Panel via transformer problems AutoCAD MEP 2012 (not revit)!

HELP!

When connecting panel-to-panel via transformer, the connection is made in Circuit Manager and loads are adjusted by NEC demand factors. However, the loads shown on the 480V panel are not evenly divided, which is what a transformer would do in a typical electrical distribution system.

Is there a fix and or workaround for this? I have a feeling I'm missing something huge here!

Thanks in advance!

I researched this a while back.

What all of the "experts" told me was that a transformer will not 'even out' the loads between the phases.  The calculated amperage on the primary side of a  transformer be different because you are going from a delta to a wye.  The basic answer I got was be sure you are not overloading a transformer in general or for any one phase and you are fine.

As a note, be careful if you have to change transformer sizes, as Circuit Manager will not always catch this.
