osnap problems

I have one drawing that I can use osnaps on ABS3 blocks. And another that I can't. Same blocks. example: 1st drawing: Line command, with osnap set to endpoint. I try to snap to a light fixture and it snaps to the corner of the 2 x 4 fixture like it should. 2nd drawing: Same sequence but it only snaps to the node/connector location in the center of the fixture. I can copy clip from the 1st drawing into the second and that fixture will not snap in the second drawing so I feel it is a setting but I can't locate it. thanks Sam

WHIPARC, set it to zero then REGENALL, see if that helps. -- Dean Saadallah Add-on products for LT http://www.pendean.com/lt --

I have found why I couldn't snap. The drawing had layer 0 frozen. I don't understand why this would cause me a problem but it did. Any ideas on why you can't do this?? It does that, especially if your blocks are created on layer 0: that's why you never ever draw on that layer, and always leave it on and thawed. -- Dean Saadallah Add-on products for LT http://www.pendean.com/lt --
