mv parts layering

I'm setting up our template to work with. I have had a problem finding were to set the mv part definitions. I want to change the layer they come in on. I know I can do it but can't remember were I have done it in earlier versions of ABS. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

That is pretty easy.  The way you do it
depends on whether or not you have a block based or parametric part.  For
future refernce though, this is easily accessed in the help documentation, so
look there first next time.  But back to the answer...Both part types have
the same first step, open the content builder (MEP Common-->Content Builder)
and navigate to the part you'd like to change.  Here you want to select
"Modify Part" the wording may be slightly different cause this is off
memory.  This will take you to the modify part environment.  This is
where the processes differ slightly.

If this is a block based part, a dialog will pop up
where you define the type of part, the layer key and the sub-type.  You
want to change the layer key to the one you want here, that is what defines what
layer the part will come in on.  If you don't know what a layer key is,
look in the help docs, they will tell you.

If this is a parametric part, then you will be in
the parametric part environment, and you want to push the "Options" button on
the left pane, this is one of the 5 buttons on the top.  Here you again
have the option to change the layer key of the part.

I hope that answers your question.
