mv part builder with service pack 2

I am having a problem with using mv part builder after installing service pack 2 for ACAD MEP 2012. When I get to the part where it is supposed to generate the views, it only generates a 3d view. All the view names are there just no block. E.g. I click Add a part size, and in the drop down menu I click the part model block. I hit enter and all the view block names appear in red. Everything is good up to here. I click generate blocks and then ok, then when I am back in the blocks and names window all the red text usually turns black but now it just disappears. The red name is in the pull down and I can pick it just will not accept it. When I am in the views dialog box only the 3d view box is checked for the one line model. I can make changes to this but I cannot select any other view # or display component like I used to. Normally I made no changes and accept the defaults and go back to screen before. Now when it takes me back to the screen before there is no blocks generated for the views? It does not matter if I click the "all directions" button when I go back; no view blocks have been created. My only choice to move forward is to use the model block that I created for all the views. Is there some other update I need to install to fix the problem?

I suspect your model block was not made from a 3D Solid, then blocked.  Content Builder cannot generate the front, side, top, etc blocks if the model block is not internally, a solid.  Faces and 3D Wireframes do not count.

Wanted to follow up and see if the suggestion about the solid helped?

Yes that was what it was. I started from an object created in Revit and converted to dwg (square D switch gear and IPAC units) I did not convert it, it was provided to us for coordination work. I had to re-size it a-bit based on our final equipment cuts. When I exploded the block and re-sized things, I must have erased some of the 3-d faces they used to create it. One of the blocks I exploded to change layer color and put back together worked with 3d faces (before I asked the question). It was the only one. The others I put solids inside all the line work and it worked fine. I could not believe when selecting all the line work to put back into the block it came up with 3,000 objects. There were lines on top of lines and very detailed. Someone did a nice job creating the original.

Parts builder did change a little after the service pack 2 install, so I suspected that was the problem. Thank you for your help
