Mirrored devices don't plot (completely)

I've got a device (Telephone Dual 2, the half-shaded triangle) that when mirrored, the shaded side does NOT plot. I know, I know... it shouldn't be mirrored, but nonetheless... What's so dang special about this particular device that would make it act this way when mirrored and plotted?!?
