Lars, Jason, Peter... Anyone?!? Invalid Authorization Code Error

Help!

I'm trying to install ABS4 on a PC with LDT3, LDT4 and ABS3 and everything works *EXCEPT* for ABS4. I get the following error message "The config file....has an existing authcode which is invalid. Do you wish to enter a new one?". I've tried deleting the file and then re-authorizing the software but to no avail (per thread 'Auth Code Error? July 7, 2003). Does anyone have any ideas as to what's going on?? And before you ask, Yes! This is legit software that was purchased and not downloaded from some site.

I'm running a P4, 1800 with WinXP. All installs are local and NOT networked.

Thanks in advance!

~ Matt

Hi Matt -

Your problem is probably related to the beta of ABS
2004 you had previously installed.
Go to
C:\Documents&Settings\All Users\Application Data\Autodesk\R16.0\Autodesk
Building Systems 2004\ENU\ADLM and remove all the files.  The next time you
start, it should prompt you for an authorization code.

I hope this helps!
