Label Styles

Is there a way to set the labels so that only one node is created for each
duct joint?

Hi Clint -

Probably not, but could you tell me what you mean by a duct joint? (sorry,
I'm slow;-)

Do you have duct length turned on?

A duct joint would be a straight piece of duct. Since the software
automatically merges straight pieces of duct between fittings, it wouldn't
seem too hard to tell it to just do one label automatically for every
straight piece of duct. It seems to put a label on about every 5' or so
when it's set to automatic as you draw duct and that is just too often and
makes the drawing way too cluttered.

Hi Clint -

Unless you are running with duct length on this is the default behavior. You
get 1 label "per segment". If you have duct length on (say, creating 5'
segments) then you will still get one label per segment, you just have a
segment every 5'.

Are you seeing different behavior?
