Incorrectly Identified Occluded Edges

I've had this problem with several projects now.

When displaying 3D views of room layouts, I find that the shaded views look great on a PDF, but not that great on paper for the contractor to reference.

So, I've been plotting the model views so that the lineweights are defined by the color in my CTB the way all the other lineweights are defined.

The problem I'm having with this view is that, with hidden or "occluded" lines turned off, some of my pipe edges also disappear.  They turn on if I turn back on occluded edges, but then so do all the hidden lines I don't want to see.

The problem seems to be totally random.  I've tried objrelupdate, regen, redraw, reloading CAD.  Nothing helps.

AutoCAD but be incorrectly identifying occluded edges.

Can anyone help?

See attached image.  I've clouded the missing edges.

I am having the exact same problem. I can not get my drawing to print out correctly either. Have you found a solution? If so please let me know i am pulling my hair out trying to figure this out.
