Icon references used in Display Manager?

There are many Icons used in display manager.

What do they mean?

Some are grayed out... Why?

Some have a little 'head' and 'shoulder' icon... looks like a person. I would assume these indicate the display rep is ones the user created.

Display sets have 3d cube, some with green check marks and some with green box in the corner.

Is there a brain dump on what all these indicate.
