Haloed Lines in Front, Back, and Side Views

Hi all,

I was wondering if there was a way to show haloed lines in a front, back, or
side view. As soon as I switch to haloed lines the duct becomes 2
dimensional. I like to use these views as sort of live sections by just
making a viewport in paperspace with the view changed to front back or
side. Is there a way to show haloed lines in these views? Also is there a
way to show them in an isometric view?

My only problem with creating a section or elevation with the program the
proper way is that it seems to slow my drawings down quite a bit and all of
the lines are then put on the same layer.

Any help with this problem would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

-Rob

Hi Rob -

Haloed lines work only in 2D plans and in sections and elevations. This is
by design, as if they were calculated in 3D views the slowdown you see with
sections and elevations would be nothing.

The Haloed lines calculations are extremely processor intensive and that is
one of the reasons they only work like they do today.

Currently, there is no way to enable haloed lines in "3D" views.
