Graphics Card

I am working on implementing ABS. I am finding out that loading drawings (even simple HVAC plans) and cutting sections is taking a long time. 76 seconds to load the drawing and several minutes to cut the section. Is this common with ABS or do I need to upgrade my Graphics/Video card. I am not a computer geek, so forgive me if I use the wrong lingo.

My System: Windows XP Pro & SP1 (Version 2002)
My Computer: Pentium(R) 4, CPU 2.66GHz
266 GHz
1.00 GB Ram

Graphics Card: GeForce FX 5200 (128mb for memory)

Any thoughts to what I should do?
