Well, I thought I could help you. I was playing with the WINDOW PULLDOWN options to try the ADT. These (EDITED) pulldowns tools are the biggest piece of (EDITED). I had my user profile settings saved from awhile back so changing the pulldown options I figured wouldn't be a big deal. After switching pulldown menu setups I tried to go back by the PROFILES, selected my saved settings and hit SET CURRENT. Every saved profile is not right!! My menus are all messed up, my custom toolbar is now MISSING. If I have to rebuild that thing again I'm going to go balistic. Now that I cannot help you with your question. Can anyone answer 1st) why my profiles were no longer saved, I did nothing to overwrite them. 2nd) how can I find my custom toolbar again, where'd it go??

Hi, Rob:

The easiest way is to open Autodesk Content brower \ browser what you want
pallet from ADT sample pallete catalog \ Idrop to the drawing.

Hope this helps.

Hi Rob -

Type options at the command line. Find the profiles tab. Highlight
Architectural Desktop and click Set Current, then OK.

The next time you launch ABS, you'll get the ABS profile again, as it is
specified in the shortcut. If you want, you can create another shortcut to
ABS but specify the Architectural Desktop profile in the shortcut key (after
the /p switch).

I know it's been a while since this question was asked, but I wanted to offer another option. The path for the location of ADT tool pallets is typically something like this:

C:\Documents and Settings\(username)\Application Data\Autodesk\Autodesk Building Systems 2004\R16.0\enu\Support\WorkspaceCatalog (Imperial)

Whereas the ABS tool pallets are located here:

C:\Documents and Settings\(username)\Application Data\Autodesk\Autodesk Building Systems 2004\R16.0\enu\Support\WorkspaceCatalog (Building Systems)

Each of these directories has it's own pallets directory and each pallet directory has it's own image directory.

I created a new directory on my system with the contents of both pallet directories and both image directories in it and then repathed my tool pallets to see the new location.

Now my tool pallets show all ABS as well as all ADT tool pallets. Furthermore, with the new tool pallets extension I was able to neatly organize all of the pallets into specific groups so that I can have just the ADT pallets shown, or Just HVAC, or just Plumbing etc.

Hope this helps others.
