Generate list of devices with assigned property sets?

Hello,

I would like to generate a list of devices in a file and for each which property sets are assigned. The purpose is to track down devices with extraneous or missing property set assignments. It would be great if i could also generate such a list for device styles. Does anyone have any ideas on how best to accomplish this?

thanks

It's simple, there are several ways to control the properties of devices
1. add a tag to all devices
2. add schedule table to all devices

3. auto synchronize the device properties with the standard
etc...

okay, thanks, I understand that assigning a tag or schedule assigns the property set so that is not a bad trick. Can you explain your option 3, auto synchronize?

Synchronize data with a standard set of styles.

http://docs.autodesk.com/BLDSYS/2014/ENU/index.html

(Find "About Project Standard", "About Synchronizing a Project With the Standards"...)

And there are corporate and projects standards.

The next step is to use the project as a template for a new project.
