In MEP 2011 and older versions they had a floating viewer that could be used to view fittings, equipment, etc. before actually inserting them into model space. I used this floating viewer alot when choosing eccentric fittings. It allowed be to make sure I was inserting the correct fitting. Do anyone know if there is a way to get access to the floating viewer in 2012 when inserting fttings or equipment?
From what I have read, that is no longer an option. I was thrown off by it also, but after just using the Properties sidebar, I enjoy it better, everything can be changed in the Properties.
