Fatel Error: Out of Memory - Shutting Down

After opening up a couple of drawings or sometimes even just one I get this message in ABS 2006.

AutoCad Error Aborting
Fatel Error: Out of Memory - Shutting Down.

We are using up around 1.5G of physical memory(Out of 2G) with only 2 to 5 small drawings. (less than 1MB each). We have our Virutal memory set to 4G and when it crashes it is using around 1.6G every time.
We did an audit on every drawing with no errors in 2006. (When we open the same drawing in 2005 it fixes several errors?)
Has anyone else had these same issues?

Could you give some more details and if possible post the drawing(s) that is
causing the problem?

1. Is this happening when you start up ABS and open the drawing or is it
after you have done some work on the drawing?
2. Are you using the property palette or is it open?

1. It does do it a lot when i open a new drawing when I have a couple of them open. it even happened when I only had one drawing open. I also can be trying to plot, change views or running a simple command. We have been trying to find a connection between the error but no luck.

2. I have the property palette open when I work. I have 2 monitors running with ABS06 and it is in the other monitor.

The only thing I can think of is that we saved it in ABS05 and running on an 05 template in 06. Thanks for any help.

To narrow down the problem, what happens if you work with the property
palette closed. Of course, it is not possible to do a lot of work this way
but I am just trying to understand under what specific scenarios, if any,
does this problem occur.

I've work with all palettes closed except for the tool one. It seems to be a random thing. The first time it happened i was using a roof material in a drawing. The last time it happened I was trying to lot a drawing. After it happens I send an error report to autodesk. I am working on a machine that well meets the requirements it needs. I am also having a plotter problem. if you could help with that.
