Elevation of Electrical Devices

Is there no way of showing electrical devices (AecbDeviceAdd) in elevation
using the AecBldgElevationLineAdd command? I have a drawing loaded at
autodesk.autocad.customer-files under the subject of "Elevation of
Electrical Devices" to show the issue. I have to show where the electrical
devices need to go in elevation for a Hospital. I already have it drawn in
plan and I want Building Systems to draw the elevations for me. There has to
be a way to do this?!?!

Thanks, Jarod

The subject is "Elevation with Receptacles " in
autodesk.autocad.customer-files

I took a quick look at your drawing, and you are right your devices aren't
showing up correctly on an elevation. I think it might be something in your
display reps. (unfortunately I don't have the time today to look further
into it). I typically don't do electrical elevations but I tested electrical
template and it work fine.(Receptacle, switches, lights, data, etc..)

Thanks for looking. I'm using the default Aecb Electrical Model (Imperial -
ctb) 4.dwt out of the box and not getting the devices to show on the
elevation. Which template did you use to have them show on the elevation?

Thanks, Jarod

I actually am using my old template from ABS 3. (customized)

I did have a chance to look at the ABS 4 templates (Aecb Electrical Model
(Imperial - ctb) 4.dwt, Aecb Building Model (Imperial - ctb) 4.dwt) and
neither one seemed to work. hummm. Interesting.

Maybe someone from AutoDesk can look at this? Jason Martin maybe?
