Drawing duct end at an angle

Hello,

I would like to know if you can draw a duct end at an angle?

I have a piece of duct coming out the side of my building and the building wall if at an odd angle, How do I match the angle to the end of the duct that is coming out of the wall or how do I make the end flush against the wall?

The attached arch is 2D, I am drawing 3D.

Thank you

Chris

There is nothing attached to the post.

But if there was the answer would still be the same.  You cannot 'trim' a piece of duct.  Your only option would be to create a duct fitting with this ability and use it instead.

Keith,

Do you have a duct fitting already created with this capability? Thanks!

I am sorry, I do not.  I don't think that you can do it with a fitting either.  If i read the first post correct they wanted a straight piece of duct with a mitered end.  I do not think this is possible.  You could however create a mvpart with this capability as mvparts allow a little more leeway on how they are created.  You do not need centerlines.  You could make the layerkey the same as your duct and it would come in on the same layer.
