I Have a problem with displaying centrelines in sections

I hav a set that acutually does it, but I cant see which box to tick

I have a set that i am happy with, except the cenrelines arnt shown

Can somebody tell me where pipe centreline visability is controlled from?

Hi,

Use MEP default templates or modify Display setting from the context menu pipes

Thanks,

It is eactly what i need to do, but when I look at the options, I am not seeing centreline appearing

The attached shot is of a section that shows centrelines, I have another section (on the same file),cut with a different style which does not have centrelines, but shows the same options on display properties

I am missing somthing

I would really like to be able to conrtol this

Hi VitalyF,

that really looks great, but I can't figure it out.

I have the same problem.

I have used the default template

I have enabled the center line (it was already enabled) and

I have regenerated the section...

nothing happens, the section is still without a center line...bad luck

Hi,

To create a section to complete a number of rules:

1. Use the default MEP template, or template based on it

2. Use only MEP objects and/or 3DSolid and blocks or xrefs from them

3. For MEP objectss use options FACETDEV = 1

4. For 3dSolids see videoclip

Hi Vitaly and alatelier,

I think I've got it.

You need to select in the section window the Style "MEP-Standard-hide", you must not select MEP-Standard (ref #1).

Fpr Display Sets (ref #2) you have to select either "Section" or "Section Hide". One of it should be preselected, which one you chosse, doesen't matter, they're both the same (in the german template).

After refreshing you have the pipe Lines and also the center line in the section, but only displayed in hidden Style.

Hi info,

Sorry I did not answer for a long time!

Your example works fine with "AutoCAD MEP 2014 - Deutsch (German)" templates.

I did it for your example, see above example step by step  (ref #1, 2)

Regards,

Vitaly
