DBOX? cant insert fittings. Need help fast

Today when I went to work on one of the drawings that I have been working on
for a few weeks now all of the sudden I cannot get it to insert any elbows
automatically. I can manually insert them but this will not work for me.
The "error" that I get in the command line when I go to turn a corner us
DBOX. Can someone explain to me what this is and how I can fix it? I tried
starting a new drawing to see if the one I was working in was corrupt or
something and the same thing happens. Is there a setting that I have turned
off by mistake or do I need to reinstall the program? Any help with this
issue would be very much appreciated as deadlines are creeping up and I am
dead in the water.

Thanks in advance
~Rob

I have looked all through the help files and cannot find anything on this
"DBOX". Is this a common issue?

Hi Rob-

Seeing DBOX at the command line is normal. It's an internal call to update
the dialog values. Check your preferences and make sure that everything
looks correct in your part preferences.

Jason,
Everything looks to be fine in the duct preferences. The problem only seems
to be effecting the rectangular duct. I checked in the part catalog and the
fittings are in there.
Command: _AecbDuctAdd Start point or
[SYstem/SHape/SIze/Elevation/Offset/Match]: DBOX
Start point or [SYstem/SHape/SIze/Elevation/Offset/Match]: DBOX

This is what comes up as soon as I hit the add duct button.

And after I draw some rectangular duct and go to turn a corner this is what
I get....

Start point or [SYstem/SHape/SIze/Elevation/Offset/Match]: Next point or
[SYstem/SHape/SIze/Elevation/Offset/Compass/Plane/Rotate/Match]: Next point
or
[SYstem/SHape/SIze/Elevation/Offset/Compass/Plane/Rotate/Match/Undo]: DBOX
Next point or
[SYstem/SHape/SIze/Elevation/Offset/Compass/Plane/Rotate/Match/Undo]: Next
point or
[SYstem/SHape/SIze/Elevation/Offset/Compass/Plane/Rotate/Match/Undo]:
DBOX

At this point I can continue to go straight but cannot turn a corner. I
also tried to draw it all in round and convert it to Rect. and it all
changed but the elbows.

What could be causing this?

Thanx in advance

~Rob

Hi Rob -

Try typing this at the command line

Catalogtest
D

wait a bit. See if the test reports any errors.

Thank you Jason that did the trick. I ran the test and found the fitting
that was causing the error. (one that I had created). After deleting it and
regenerating the catalog, everything seems to be working fine.

Thank you very much you have saved the day once again.
