Count Sprinklers

I have just tried to count the sprinklers in a project I am working on

I have both upright and pendant sprinklers on the same floor

When I count with ssx, MEP just returns the total number of sprinklers and does not differentiate between the individual instances

I have even included different blocks for each symbol nested in the sprinkler, but these arent counting either

Do I need to create an entirly new sprinker head type to get this functionality, or is there another way to sort and count individual instances

Hi,

It's not hard, for example group by PartSizename with formula Property Definition

pt = "[MvPartSprinkleObjects:PartType]"
If pt = "Sprinkler" Then RESULT = "[QUANTITY]"  Else RESULT = "0"

You should watch this set of videos from Autodesk about property sets, tags, and schedules.  They should explain everything.  Please note that these videos were done before grouping was available on schedules so it will not be covered.
