OK I need some help here. I am working on a large project. I have to layout all of the plumbing in 3D using AutoCad MEP 2011. My problem is the Copper piping. Which type should I use that would give me the largest fittings library. I will need alot of sizes between 1/2" - 6" copper fittings. And where do I find the valves?
Please help !!!!
"Plumbing Lines" in AutoCAD MEP are 2D schematic lines. So I'll assume you want to draw 3D "Pipes" instead that represent Plumbing with copper fittings. They are in there, it's just one copper fitting catalog and Routing Preference.
If you do not see the copper fittings needed, you can always make them using Content Builder. Here are some videos I made to teach how to use Content Builder. Content Builder makes both MvParts and Fittings that can be used for Duct, Pipe, Conduit or Cable Tray. The concept is the same, so what you learn in the videos will apply across the board.
