I have an old template file that was created with autocad 2008 I believe. When I open the Style manager in MEP 2014 the everyhing is blank. I think i read somewhere that it is because it is not an MEP template. My question is, is there any way to update it to be and MEP template?

Hi,
Use "_adcenter"
1. Open your Autocad template
2. Open MEP template (must be current)
3. Type command _adcenter, go tab "Open Drawings"
4. Navigate through the categories in the left window, select the desired
5. In the right window, select your Autocad style, right click "Add ..."
6. Save MEP template, ok!
Good luck,
Vitaly
Hi,
...additionally >>
7. Export Layers from Autocad template with "_LAYERSTATE", import to MEP
8. Create or modify the MEP Layer Key Styles from Autocad Layer
9. Import Layout from Autocad template:
a) Opet MEP template right click on layout "Page Setup Manager" > "Import" > select Autocad template
