Connecting dissimilar ductwork systems

Where is the setting that allows dissimilar ductwork systems to connect without changing everything to one system or another?

Hi Amber -

You need to change the HVAC Connector style so that it doesn't check for
matching systems. To do this go in to AecStyleManager, navigate to Connector
Styles, Edit the HVAC Connector style, on the Rules page, highlight system,
and select the Always connect radio button.

Hi Amber!

Another option, if you don't want to dissable the systems check, is to use
the System Group option on your HVAC Systems. If you enter/select the same
system group name on two different systems they should connect, as they now
are a part of the same system group.

The system groups can be found on the Design Rules tab of the Duct System
Definitions in the Style Manager.
