connecting a pipe

I am trying to connect a horizontal pipe to a vertical riser at a particular elevation. It can be done in SW view, but it only grabs the pipe curve. Getting the elevation set requires several additional steps. Can this be done in one operation. It is very time consuming the way I am doing it. Thanks

Hi Bob -

Do you know the elevation that you want to connect at, or is it at the end
of the pipe? You should be able to set the elevation in the elevation box
(on the pipeadd dialog) and press the "lock" button to force the elevation.
