At times I can't shake off "groove" fittings after placing some in the drawing. Our system calls for grooved fitting (cast iron) then going back to brazed copper runs. However when going back the brazed copper runs the fittings remain as grooved. I can modify the pipe run by the system and routing, size, and somehow get the fittings to update but after that the catalog is shot and I need to specify 'every' pipe pull and fitting.
I have rebuilt the drawing (xrefs, new template...) successfully but need to understand better how to reset / rebuild AutoCAD MEP's catalogs so I can just go back to work!
Please advise.
