Autocad mep2014 to revit

How do I take a duct,pipe 3d drawings in autocad mep and import it into a Revit file.

Please keep in mind that it might be written for Revit Structure but it is relevant for all flavors of Revit.

You can either link (operates link an xref) or insert DWGs into Revit (operates like inserting Blocks).

 

There are some downfalls to it though. Currently, sections created in Revit with 3D geometry imported/linked from AutoCAD do not display clipping planes correctly. So, you're going to see every object past the Section Line.
