AutoCAD MEP Circuit Issue

Hello,

 

I'm having an issue with MEP snaps.  I have object snap turned off and all my mep snaps are on.  When I hover over the device, the green symbol shows up, but when I click, it ends up not connecting to the device.  This is only the case for some devices.  If I create a new device and try to add wire, it will work part of the time.  Does anyone know why this is or how to permanently fix this issue?

Seems like the way to resolve this bug is to close and reopen autocad.
