AutoCAD MEP 2014 XREF issues

Anyone else having issues with xrefs in 2014? We are unable to carry over layers states from constructs to views within project manager. As well as the inability to bind any xrefs. Seems like the issue only lies in 2014, as we are having to revert back to 2013 to create views and constructs. All of our workstations are having the issue. Thanks!

Hi Bryan,

How are you trying to carry over the layer states?

Are you exporting and importing an LAS file, using the Layer State Manager?

Do the Layer States that don't come through correctly apply to nested XREFs? (XREF > Construct > View - where the layer state from XREF doesn't work in View)

What happens when you try to bind the XREFs?

Have you checked all files for corruption? Here is an article about repairing corrupt files. You may want to review it, clean up all of the associated files, and retest.

The layer states are being created in an arch construct and then xref'd into our mechanical/plumbing constructs. They layer states are listed in the layer state dropdown once we bring over the archy construct. It has always worked in previous versions, with this being the first version to not work. It is not one specific file, but rather every file we have used so far in 2014. Everything works in 2013 but not 2014, so its not a corrupt file issue.

When we try to bind an xref nothing happens. It remains an xref and there is not an error in the command line.
