AUTOCAD MEP 2014 Takeoff

How can I can create a takeoff at a 30, 45, or 60 degree angle from a main?

The default seems to continually branch off at 90 degrees and auto format and connects the duct that branches off of main that I want it to.

Thanks,

Terra

what angle is your takeoff built at?  Is the connector built at 90 degrees or another angle?

30, 45, or 60 degrees. I have tried to manually change the angle, but it won't let me.

Is your tap a straight tap or is it built at an angle?  Some more information about the tap would be helpful.  In either case, i do not believe that it is possible to PULL a tap off a main run at an angle.  You can however create a tee or a wye with the tap at an angle and then place it and run your duct at an angle but again i do not think you can pull the duct from the main run at an angle.  The piping module has this ability but i dont think the duct module does.  I could be wrong however.
