AutoCAD MEP 2013 Layer filter properties dialog box

Windows 7, 8GB ram:

AutoCAD MEP 2013:

In the Layer Properties Manager,  AutoCAD freezes up every time I try to open the layer filter property dialog box. I have repaired, reinstalled, deleted and installed AutoCAD several times today. Does anybody have any idea what could be causing this? This was fine until yesterday.

Thanks Joshua but this was happening on a new drawing with few filters. What I discovered was that had I rebooted my machine the first time it may have solved the problem. When I shut the machine down for the night then started it up the next day the problem was gone.
