AutoCad 2011 MEP Some pipes not shown

Hello All I have a plumbing drawing tha was done by a seprate contractor and Supplied to me for BIM cooridination. When I open his file and change the 2D wireframe view to a Shaded with edges view. The larger size show up the way they should but anything under ~2" stays as wireframe. Proxygraphics are set to 1. Exploding doesn't solve it. Im kinda not sure what else to try. Thanks for any help.

Hi Dave,

In this drawing, the pipes that display shaded are actually 3D Solids and not real pipe objects. If you want to display the pipes shaded then you can add the model display representation to the plan view.
I would recommend that you create a new display configuration in the display manager:
- "Manage" ribbon tab > Display manager.
- Under Configuration, create a new display configuration.
- For the "Top" direction view, select "MEP Design - Model".
- Click ok to close the display manager.

Now you can change to the display configuration that you just created in the drawing status bar.
An object regeneration (objrelupdate at the command line) may be needed to see the changes.
