Add existing parts to catalog

Hello all and happy new year

I have downloaded some parts from Autodesk Seek and I want to add them to the catalog.  If I go to content builder I can add new chapters to the mechanical folder but it prompts me to crerate a new dwg from scratch while I have the file ready.

Part I want to add

How can I do this? I am new to autocad MEP.

Hi Again

I managed to add the files to the catalog but now I have another question.

I want to modify those parts and give custom values for the length and width of the hood.

How can I do this?

If you watch this set of videos it will help you understand the content builder for AutoCAD MEP and how to modify parts.

Thank you very much Keith

I did look into youtube but the video titles are not that obvious.

I was strugling for a week now as I found a way to make an MvPart and add it to the catalogue (done it), a parametric part and add it to the catalogue (done it) but not a Parametric MvPart and add it to the catalogue, which is my case.

Once again thank you!
