Hi,
Are you refering to the 'Schedule 40
Glued Eighth Bend US Imperial' in the plumbing piping catalog....?
Yes, there seems to be a 'problem' with that
one.....it's configured as a 90 degree bend, not a 45 degree...
For some reason the Model parameters are corret in
the part but the Size parameters is incorrect.
It's an 'easy' fix.
1. From the MEP Common pulldown menu, choose
'Content builder'
2. Choose the Pipe catalog
3. Browse to Schedule 40 - Glued - Elbows -
Schedule 40 Glued Eighth Bend US Imperial
4. Press 'Modify Partsize'
5. In the tree to the left, right click on 'Size
Parameters' and choose 'Edit values'
6. Double click on the field "PathA1" in any of the
rows
7. Enter '45' and press 'Enter' (the rest of the
rows should update with the new value)
8. Click OK
9. Press 'Save Part Family'
10. Press the 'X' to close Content
Builder
I have looged this as a defect.
Sorry for any inconvenience

I
fequently need to install an eight been fitting. From time to time, it will
not let me do it. I keeps defaulting to a 90 elbow. I find that if I zoom back
and install a long pipe run with a 45 it will work. From then on, it will let
a 45 be installed. Would like to know why this is
happening.
