I am a 30 year plumber. I have done lots of hand detailing.I need to get started in AutoCAD MEP. Does anybody have any recommendations on training? Do these bootcamps for $2500 work? Do employers require any kind of certs? I have been directed to the UDemy series of online classes, does anyone have any experience with them? Looking to learn Revits, Navis System? Thanks for the help. I would think with my plumbing background & computer skills that I am not "entry level" but still need need a lot of help.
Hi @Anonymous,
you can try self learning with some support from tutorials available in Autodesk Website.
For AutoCad MEP
REVIT

NAVISWORKS

Take the Training only if they do it specifically for Plumbing, it's bit of trick to work with sanitary pipes with slope and different fittings.
if you can workout something like hand-holding session will be more helpful for you rather than the regular training.
