Why are leaders and their associated text not linked together?

I am having more frustration with basics of the new 2015 system functions.

When I used to create a leader, it acted as ONE UNIT and all you had to do was select the text or the leader/arrow itself and copy/mirror/move and then the leader would follow the text and stay pointed towards the original location.

NOW the leaders act as TWO separate entities that don't work together at all.

I have tried DIMASSOC, but this does not change the functionality of leaders in the way I need them to.

Can someone please help with the specific command used to Return me to the original associative functions?

Thank you.

Shan

The difference in performance of leader mod is basically the characteristics between MLEADER and QLEADER. MLEADER performs as you desire, as a unit. QLEADER is two separate entities between text and leader.

What happens if you use the AMNOTE functionality?
