why am2012 so slow with block?

HI,

 

I made a block, when i try to copy it, am2012 stop respond. after about 1 min, it come back live. Why is that, so slow.

 

I am using win 7 64 bit. i7 cpu, 8g ram, only a very simple drawing with that block.

How did you make the block? Are we talking copy-clip here or wblock or what?

In case you first saved the block as a file - where did you save the file?

It may be a matter with the speed of your network/server/... in case you saved it externally from your machine.

thx for ur repley.

 

I made the block inside the file. The file is still opened. I think it's wblock and the file is on my local machine.

 

When I try to copy it, the cursor disppeared in the drawing area. But will show up outside that area. If I click inside the area, the whole area will greyed out. After waiting for about 1 minute, the cursor re-appear and then I could pick the place to place within the file. but again, i have to wait another 1 minute or so.

 

Don't know what is happing.
