What does this error message mean?

fatal error: unhandled access violation reading 0x0007 exception at dd2e03fh

We received some files from our customer that when I open them in AutoCAD Mech 2006 it gives me this error message and then shuts down my AutoCAD Mech. However I can open the file using regular AutoCad 2006. If I resave the files using regular AutoCAD 2006 I still can't open them in AutoCad Mech 2006. Anyone have any insight into what is causing this to happen and what this error message means?
